Genie+ At Disney World Will Include Free Attraction PhotoPass Starting In March

Starting in March, Walt Disney World guests who purchase the Genie+ service will be treated to complimentary attraction PhotoPass downloads. These free PhotoPass downloads will only be for the day that they have purchased Genie+, and not all attractions offer PhotoPass photos, but this is a nice addition to sweeten the deal for those of you purchasing Genie+.

Does Genie+ Pay For Itself Now?

Normally, single PhotoPass downloads cost about $17 per photo, so if you were intending to purchase even just one attraction photo on your next trip, Genie+ will basically pay for itself!

Single Photo Download – $16.95

Walt Disney World guests have the option of purchasing PhotoPass photos one by one if you don’t want to buy a package. This can work well if you only have a few photos you would want to save, but this can get quite expensive quickly. If you plan on downloading more than 10 PhotoPass photos, you should opt for the $169 advance purchase Memory Maker package. You can then download all the photos you take, and you’ll be encouraged to stop at the designated photo locations to take all family photos you like.

Of course, this only applies to attraction photos, so if you are looking to capture memories everywhere throughout the park, you may look into the Memory Maker packages that Disney is selling. These packages enable you to download unlimited photos from any location around Walt Disney World.

…Guests purchasing Disney Genie+ service will also receive digital downloads of their Disney PhotoPass attraction photos, taken in the park on the day of their purchase, at no additional charge. Attraction photos are taken while in the parks at more than a dozen of our most popular attractions, including Space Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, Test Track, Expedition Everest, and more. Disney PhotoPass terms and conditions and expiration policy apply.
