Nothing says “summer holiday” in the U.S.A. like a good barbecue meal. Slow cooked and smoked meats, creamy macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob and more find themselves on the menu of many households for small and large gatherings. If you’ll be spending Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day weekend at Walt Disney World and don’t want to miss out on a typical hearty American meal, check out these restaurants for the best places to find barbecue in Walt Disney World.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue – EPCOT
There are so many quality dining locations at EPCOT, but if you’re searching for the best barbecue, Regal Eagle in the American Adventure Pavilion truly has some of the best. Passersby are lured by the smell of the slow-smoked ribs, chicken, and brisket while angus burgers and jackfruit burgers are also on the menu. Choose from traditional barbecue sides like baked beans, mac and cheese, and onion rings. Regal Eagle offers many allergy-friendly items making this dining location ideal for parties of all ages and food preferences. Choose to cool off indoors or grab a picnic table outside to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the World Showcase.
Flame Tree Barbecue – Animal Kingdom
Located on Discovery Island on the way to Dinoland U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Flame Tree Barbecue is one of my personal favorite restaurants in the Walt Disney World Parks. Choose from slow marinated chicken and pulled pork sandwiches and platters as well as St. Louis ribs. For a hearty entrée, try the baked macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork, onion rings, and coleslaw. Open for lunch and dinner, Flame Tree Barbecue is great for a midday meal or late dinner before heading back to your resort.
Rodeo Roundup BBQ – Hollywood Studios
Newly opened in Hollywood Studios, Rodeo Roundup BBQ is found in and appropriately themed to Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
