Disneyland After Dark has returned in 2023 with a variety of uniquely-themed events that are sure to be a hit among guests. From Sweetheart “date nights” to Star Wars Night these specially-ticketed after hours events are filled with fun and exclusive opportunities. For the first time ever, fans of Disney Princesses were invited to attend Disneyland After Dark for the inaugural dates of Princess Nite! Occurring on March 7 and 9, 2023, guests entered the land of happily ever afters during Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite and strolled up Main Street U.S.A. which dazzled in shimmering projections and were delighted by all of the princess-themed activities that the night had to offer.
Princess Meet And Greets
It wouldn’t be Princess Nite without having the opportunity to meet your favorite glowing gals. Upon entering, guests received a brochure that listed the available princesses and their locations which was helpful for planning purposes. Then, they found Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse dressed in their princess gowns welcoming guests in from the Disneyland Train Station. Also available to meet were:
- Jasmine and Moana in Adventureland
- Tiana in New Orleans Square
- Princess Leia in Tomorrowland
- Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Elena of Avalor, Kida of Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Merida, Mulan, Princess Atta, Rapunzel, Raya, Sofia the First, and Snow White in Fantasyland
In addition to character sightings and meet and greets, guests were delighted by the appearance of Giselle from the movie Enchanted in a royal cavalcade. Rolling by in a horse-drawn carriage twice each hour, Giselle waved to guests as the song Ever Ever After played along Main Street U.S.A.
Music And Entertainment
Princess Nite allowed guests to dance to everyone’s favorite princess tunes! Soaring Melodies under the Skies, a live vocal concert featuring Disney Princesses, took place at three different times throughout the evening at Rivers of America. For a more upbeat and light-hearted party, guests visited a candy-themed dance party at Tomorrowland stage featuring Vanellope Von Schweetz! And if that wasn’t already enough, guests visited New Orleans Square to hear the undeniable, toe-tapping tunes of jazz music. In addition to all of these opportunities, select attractions were also open to all guests with very little wait time.
