EPCOT is a park that is full of celebration of mankind and the human connection. It is a favorite park of many guests because of its dynamic attractions and entertainment. There is so much to do and see at EPCOT. EPCOT is divided into several sections: World Nature, World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Showcase. World Showcase is an incredible section of the park featuring 11 unique country pavilions, each with their own attractions, dining, and shopping opportunities. The countries featuring in World Showcase are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Morocco, Japan, France, United Kingdom, and Canada. Attractions
There are several attractions that are located throughout EPCOT’s World Showcase.
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros in Mexico- A dark ride boat ride exploring Mexico
Frozen Ever After in Norway- A dark ride boat ride featuring Anna, Elsa, and all of your favorite Frozen friends
Reflections of China in China- A 14 minute-long Circle vision film exploring China’s beauty
The American Adventure in America- A stage show starring audio-animatronics exploring America’s history
Beauty and the Beast Singalong in France- A 15-minute long singalong experience featuring songs from Beauty and the Beast
Impressions De France in France– An 18-minute long film exploring France in a 200-degree widescreen view
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in France- An innovative dark ride shrinking guests down to the size of a rat in a kitchen
Canada Far and Wide in Canada- A circle vision 360 film exploring Canada’s beauty
Dining
Many country pavilions in World Showcase feature authentic dining experiences. These include:
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway- Princess buffet dining featuring authentic Norwegian cuisine
Biergarten Restaurant in Germany- A German buffet featuring unique live entertainment and beers on tap
Chefs de France in France- Authentic French dining in a bistro setting
La Hacienda De San Angel in Mexico- Delicious Mexican food in a restaurant overlooking World Showcase Lagoon
Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada- A Signature Dining Experience located within Canada serving incredible steaks and Canadian cuisine
Rose and Crown Pub in United Kingdom- The best Fish n’ Chips this side of the pond and other authentic British cuisine
San Angel Inn Restaurante in Mexico- Mexican food with a view of the Mexico pavilion in a picturesque setting
Takumi-Tei in Japan- A signature dining experience that brings Japanese elegance and perfection to the United States
Tepan Edo in Japan- An interactive dining experience in which Teppan chefs prepare your meal before your eyes
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Italy-Authentic Italian pizza unlike anything you’ve ever had stateside
Shopping
Each pavilion within World Showcase features shops that contain items that are unique to the country, and items that you can’t find anywhere else in the Disney parks. Our favorite shops within World Showcase include Mitsukoshi in Japan, Plume et Palette in France, and The Plaza de los Amigos in Mexico.
Entertainment and Other Areas
World Showcase is a great place to look for character meet and greets. If you make your way toward International Gateway, near the Disney Skyliner, you might find some unique and rare unscheduled character appearances. Other characters that are known to appear throughout World Showcase are Aurora, Belle, Alice, and Ariel. In the United Kingdom pavilion, guests can find Pooh having a meet and greet inside Christopher Robin’s room.
Other entertainment that can found throughout World Showcase include Matsuriza, the Japanese drummers playing traditional instruments throughout the day. You truly never know what entertainment you mind find as you explore World Showcase.
Luminous The Symphony of Us is EPCOT’s nightly fireworks spectacular that can be seen throughout World Showcase. This fireworks show features stunning explosions as well as water and projection effects on World Showcase Lagoon. Celebrating what it means to be human and the human connection, Luminous The Symphony of Us is a show that shouldn’t be skipped.
