Exploring EPCOT’s World Nature



Journey of water

EPCOT is a dynamic park featuring many attractions that celebrate all aspects of our life on Earth. EPCOT is divided into several different sections: World Celebration, World Nature, World Discovery, and World Showcase. Each of these sections work together to educate and entertain guests and celebrate what it means to be human. EPCOT’s World Nature section is all about life and nature within our planet. There are several attractions and things to do and see within this area. Continue reading as we explore EPCOT’s World Nature.

Attractions

EPCOT’s World Nature is home to several attractions including EPCOT’s The Land pavilion, The Seas pavilion, and a brand new attraction inspired by Moana: The Journey of Water. The Land pavilion is home to the popular attraction Soarin’ in which guests board a hang-gliding simulator and witness incredible landmarks throughout the world. The Land pavilion is also home to Living With the Land, an educational boat ride attraction that takes guests through a working greenhouse and educates on agriculture and how humans use our natural resources and work our land. Awesome Planet, an educational film about planet Earth,  is another attraction within The Land.

The Seas is home to The Seas with Nemo and Friends, a dark ride attraction taking guests through the ocean with Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and all of their pals from the films. This attraction exits into Sea Base, EPCOT’s massive aquarium featuring aquatic creatures like dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, sting rays, and so much more.

The Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana, is EPCOT’s newest attraction. This walkthrough attraction educates guests on the water cycle as they are invited to play with various water features and explore the possibilities that water holds. Guests can choose to either get wet or remain dry during this experience.

Dining

Guests can easily find places to eat at World Nature. The Land pavilion is home to a quick-service restaurant, Sunshine Seasons, which features farm-fresh foods and a large menu. This restaurant is great for families because of its menu variety, and the dining area is inside The Land pavilion and air-conditioned.

A table-service restaurant can also be found within The Land pavilion. Garden Grill is a lovely character dining experience that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Chip, Dale, Farmer Mickey, and Pluto all wander throughout the restaurant and greet you as you dine. The restaurant also slowly rotates, giving guests unique glimpses into the Living with the Land attraction. Garden Grill serves up a delicious family-style meal of turkey, grilled steak, cornbread, mac n’ cheese, and more.

The Seas is home to another sit-down restaurant, Coral Reef. This unique restaurant offers views into EPCOT’s Sea Base aquarium so guests can watch the beautiful aquatic life as they dine. Coral Reef restaurant serves great seafood including a seafood boil, mahi mahi, and surf n’ turf.

Shops

There are plenty of shopping opportunities within EPCOT’s World Nature section at the Sea Base Gift Shop. This shop is where guests can find all things Finding Nemo, as well as other classic Disney merchandise. Some plushies of aquatic creatures found within Sea Base can be purchased at this gift shop as well.

Characters and Other Experiences

Other experiences within World Nature include a Moana meet and greet just outside of the Journey of Water attraction. The Behind the Seeds Tour is an enchanting extra within The Land pavilion that can booked for an additional fee.
