Build-A-Bear Offers Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Gift Bundle

Disney World 50th Build A Bear

Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration is nearing its halfway mark. The 50th anniversary of its opening, which was officially marked on October 1, 2021, is so big that it spans over 18 months! So far, we have seen Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure open and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be shortly, a new nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, special treats, the return of parades and character hugs, and, of course, 50th anniversary merchandise! During this year and a half event, special food items and souvenirs will continue to be released in the parks and on shopDisney.com to commemorate this milestone.

Build-A-Bear has long-parntered with Disney, offering clothing and accessories from select Disney characters. This past month, Build-A-Bear released a Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration gift bundle! Included are a stuffed Mickey Mouse, a t-shirt reading “I’m going to Walt Disney World”, a 1st Visit button, a 5-in-1 sound chip that greets you and invites you to take him on some rides, and a draw string bear carrier stamped with a Walt Disney World logo. All of the accessories coordinate with the gold and blue colors chosen for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary and are sold for a price $64.95. It is limited to online sales only; this commemorative bundle is not able to be purchased in-store.

The “bundle” is a package deal, meaning that the coordinating accessories are not able to be purchased separately for a different bear. Currently, the website is showing that 50th anniversary bundle is not able to ship, because at the time of publication, certain accessories are not in stock.  However, it is not listed as sold out, which means to keep checking back, as guests will be able to order again once supplies are restocked! If you’re able to snag this limited release item, it will make a perfect gift for surprising someone with their first trip to Disney World. Not only will they get the lasting memories of the vacation, but also a cute and snuggly keepsake for years to come!
