Guardians Of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Will Officially Open May 27th

It’s official, Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open on May 27th in Epcot!

If you recall, a tweet was posted last month stating that this attraction would be opening on Memorial Day Weekend, and it turns out to be correct! May 27th is the Friday right before Memorial Day weekend begins and is when Disney likes to kick off Summer fun in the parks.

In addition to this exciting news, Disney also announced that Annual Passholders and select Disney Vacation Club members will receive a special sneak peak of this long awaited attraction. Annual Passholders and DVC members have already begun receiving their emails and they should look something like this:

There has not been any dates for these sneak peak rides at this time, but we are certain that they will be released soon, since the opening is a mere 53 days away! Disney states that guests should keep a lookout in their inbox for more information regarding their preview dates.

If this news wasn’t exciting enough as it is, Disney also released a commercial for the attraction that gives guests more information on the backstory of the ride. The preview commercial can be seen below.

This clip seems to follow with the usual vibe of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The attraction is sure to be funny and entertaining, as well as chaotic and thrilling. This family friendly coaster is going to be an absolute marvel, just like the Guardians themselves.
