Doing laundry during your Disney vacation is a great way to cut down on suitcase space and pack lightly. Even if you don’t plan on doing laundry, you never know when something you’ve packed might need an emergency wash! Luckily, every DVC resort has several spaces to laundry and if you are staying in a villa with more than one bedroom you likely have a washer and dryer inside your room.
Laundry detergent is typically available for sale in vending machines located inside the laundry rooms. If you have a washer and dryer located in your hotel room then you will usually be supplied one small packet of detergent for your stay. If you plan on doing more than one load of laundry it might be a good idea to pack your own.
You can utilize the website LaundryView to check the availability of your laundry room in real time! Here are the locations of the laundry rooms for each DVC resort at Walt Disney World:
Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs has four laundry locations. They are located near Congress Parks, The Grandstand, The Paddock, and The Springs.
Polynesian
There are two laundry locations for the Polynesian Resort. The DVC laundry room is on the 1st floor of the Moorea building, and general guest laundry is located near Lilo’s Playhouse.
Old Key West
Each pool at Old Key West is home to a laundry room. Millers Road, Old Turtle Pond, Sandcastle Pool, and South Point Road are all home to laundry facilities.
Grand Floridian
The Grand Floridian resort is home to several laundry facilities. They can be found at Big Pine Key, Boca Chica, Conch Key, the Main Building, Sago Cay, and the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian.
Wilderness Lodge
There is just one laundry facility for Wilderness Lodge, located at The Villas of Wilderness Lodge.
Boardwalk Inn
Two laundry facilities have their home at Disney’s Boardwalk. You can find them at Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk Villas.
Beach Club
At Disney’s Beach club there are laundry facilities at Beach Club Villas, Beach Club Inside, and Beach Club Tidal.
Bay Lake Tower
Just one laundry room is at Bay Lake Tower, located on the 1st floor.
Animal Kingdom Lodge
There are several laundry rooms at Animal Kingdom lodge. Jambo House Zebra 1st floor, Jambo House Kudu Trail 2nd floor, and Animal Kingdom Kidani Village.

We will be staying in a DVC studio at the Polynesian. We will not have Magic Bands. Can we gain access to the laundry by using our room key card?

Thank you for this information! We are planning a combined Disney Cruise and WDW Visit and wasn’t sure what the best way to pack would be. It seems like we’ll be able to take less since we can do laundry once we get to the resort. Do you happen to know whether there are laundry facilities on the Disney Cruise Liners as well? I’m hoping we don’t have to use them, but with a five-year-old and a two-year-old it’s best to be prepared!
Hello! According to Disney’s website, there are laundry services about the Disney Cruise Line ships. Both self-service and full-service delivery laundry service is available for an extra fee.
