It’s Tough to be a Bug

Animal Kingdom has very popular shows like Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…And Beyond! but it is also home to a more underrated show: “It’s Tough to be a Bug“. This show resides within Discovery Island near the great Tree of Life. Guests travel to a theatre built especially for bugs and watch a 3D film starring Flik and other friends from A Bug’s Life. This show is so much more than a 3D film as it uses real effects as well as audio-animatronics to tell a bug’s untold story. Guests will be enthralled during this performance as they smell stink bugs, dodge tarantula quills, and even experience being sprayed by bug spray. While this show is for guests of all ages, some children might be frightened during some dark and intense scenes.

One comment on “Underrated Shows At Disney World

  1. Love this list! I have a huge soft spot for Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and it’s the one “non-negotiable” show whenever we visit Hollywood Studios. 😊 This show and I are the same age! I know there are others that are newer and flashier, but there’s just something about a life-size airplane, live and right in front of you, catching on fire that I simply can’t wait to see again and again. If you had to pick a single park based on the availability of stage shows, which one would it be? Hollywood Studios is the obvious choice, but there are such great ones at each park, it’s hard to choose!-Lindsey
