Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

Disneyland is a theme park that is full of Walt Disney’s love of  Americana. This is strongly featured as soon as you enter the park with Main Street U.S.A. This area of Disneyland is your first impression of the park, and is modeled after Walt Disney’s old hometown during the turn of the century. Main Street U.S.A. contains the sights, sounds, and smells that epitomize Disneyland. This area of the park has a few attractions, several great places to shop and grab souvenirs, and wonderful restaurants and places to grab a bite. As you enter Main Street U.S.A., you experience what Disneyland is all about. Join us as we explore Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A.

Attractions

Disneyland Railroad- Featuring 4 stations, the Disneyland Railroad is an attraction that you can use to travel throughout the park or you can choose to experience the full 18 minute-long loop. Disneyland Railroad features an authentic steam-powered train and sights like dioramas and the Rivers of America. Stations are located on Main Street U.S.A., New Orleans Square, Mickey’s Toontown, and Tomorrowland.

Disney Gallery- This art gallery is open to guests of all ages and features seasonal exhibits and attractions. Currently, the Disney Gallery is showcasing Disney 100 Years of Wonder. This exhibit features the story of original attractions that inspired Disney films throughout the years.

The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln– Abe Lincoln tells his own story and delivers his own speeches during this audio-animatronic show located on Main Street U.S.A. Lincolns life story is told through a moving film, and an advanced audio-animatronic takes the stage to tell more. Guests can also enjoy exploring other artifacts like a scale model of Disneyland on its opening day.

Food and Drink

Plaza Inn- Classic American dining can be enjoyed during breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Plaza Inn. This restaurant also features a character breakfast with Minnie Mouse and a few of her friends. Guests can enjoy breakfast goods like Mickey waffles, French Toast, omelets, and more as they meet and greet with their favorite characters. For lunch and dinner, guests can choose from a variety of classic entrees like Pot Roast, Salmon, Penne Pasta, and more.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe- This quick-service restaurant is delightfully themed after Mary Poppins and features breakfast bites as well as specialty bakery items. Guests can enjoy treats like the Milk Chocolate Croissant, as well as a variety of coffee beverages.

Carnation Cafe- This nostalgic restaurant serves all-American comfort foods like Fried Pickles, Walt’s Chili, Cheeseburgers, and more. Carnation Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor- This old-fashioned ice cream parlor is perfect for a sweet treat during your Disney day. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor serves specialty ice cream creations like sundaes, scoops in waffle cones, and more.

Refreshment Corner- This quick-service restaurant is great for people watching and enjoying a meal. Refreshment Corner is open for lunch and dinner and serves items like hot dogs, chili, and macaroni and cheese.

Entertainment and Other Experiences

Main Street Vehicles- Take a one-way trip down Main Street on one of the many vintage vehicles. Guests might be lucky enough to experience a Horse-Drawn Street Car, Jitney, Fire Engine, or an Omnibus. Guests can board these vehicles at either Town Square or Central Plaza.

Silhouette Studio- A great stop for a souvenir, Silhouette Studio is located on Main Street U.S.A., and allows guests to get custom-made silhouettes to take home of their family or even pets!
