Walt Disney World is a great place for families and small children, but it is also a fun vacation spot for adults! There are several bars located throughout Walt Disney World property, and just as with any other Disney experience these bars are heavily themed and full of magical energy. Whether you choose a bar at a Disney resort or at a Disney park, you will certainly enjoy your Disney bar experience. Here are our favorite can’t-miss bars for an adult Disney vacation.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto – Disney’s Polynesian Resort
A themed bar with an extra shake of pixie dust is what you will find when you head over to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. With special effects lighting up the bar when you order certain drinks, this isn’t your typical tiki bar. The servers are lively and go the extra Disney mile to make your experience here fun and unique. This is a popular experience so be sure to arrive early, and expect a bit of a wait to enter.
Specialty drinks found here include the Polynesian Pearl, a blend of RumChata Cream Liqueur, Grand Marnier, cinnamon, and tropical juices. The drink comes in a souvenir pearl.
AbracadaBar – Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is a great spot for some great nightlife, including AbracadaBar. Step back in time to a period where magicians gathered to share their tricks. This bar is themed after an old magician’s gathering spot filled with magical mirrors, effects, and props.
Guests can enjoy a cocktail menu featuring classics like a Manhattan and a Negroni, as well as featured and themed cocktails like Pepper’s Ghost: pineapple vodka and habanero lime juice.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar – Disney Springs
Disney Springs has no shortage of options for bars. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is a must-do for any fan of Indiana Jones or alcoholic beverages. Jock Lindsey’s is themed after an airplane hanger turned bar, and there are Indiana Jones references and props everywhere you look. This bar is lively and full of adventure and guests love the appetizers as well as the drinks.
Featured drinks at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar include the Fountain of Youth: St. Augustine Florida Vodka, Bols Blue Curacao, white cranberry juice, and sweet and sour mix.
