If you’re visiting Disneyland during Halloween Time, make sure you take time to see the characters! Everyone’s favorite pals are debuting new “homemade” costumes this year and they are more adorable than ever. Mickey Mouse is dressed as a jack-o-lantern. Minnie Mouse’s new costume is a cat. She is seen this season in a purple dress with purple polka dots and cat ears instead of her signature bow. Tall and lanky Goofy has dressed up as a haunted apple tree while Donald is disguised as a piece of candy corn. His costume was the inspiration for a souvenir sipper cup that will be available at select locations Disney World and Disneyland beginning in early October. Lastly, Pluto is sporting a new Halloween collar and Chip and Dale don skeleton t-shirts. Find these characters in costume at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Just as Walt Disney World hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween after hours party, Disneyland puts on their own version called the Oogie Boogie Bash! Named for the notable green ghost from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, guests will find no shortage of villains at this party! Spotted so far at this year’s bash are Mother Gothel from Tangeled, Bruno from Encanto (but is he really the villain?), and Ms. Cruella de Vil herself. Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco was also found entertaining guests by interacting with the audience and even performing songs! Madam Mim from Sword in the Stone was seen along a treat trail and also interacted with passing by guests. If you’re a fan of the movie Hocus Pocus, you’ll definitely want to find Clarabelle, Minnie, and Daisy disguised as the the Sanderson Sisters!
