Are you a sandwich fan? Disney World is a great place to sample great food from all corners of the world, but there is no shortage of classic American-style dining within the parks and resorts. If you love sandwiches then you’ll love what Disney World has to offer you. Here are the best sandwiches that you can find at Disney World.
Holiday Turkey Sandwich – Earl of Sandwich
Disney Springs is home to what many consider to be their favorite Disney sandwich. Earl of Sandwich is a quick-service dining location that resides within Disney Springs and serves sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests love the indulgent breakfast sandwiches like the sausage, egg and cheddar, ham and swiss, and the breakfast B.L.T. But the real stars at Earl of Sandwich are served during lunch and dinner. Just about any sandwich that you can imagine is served at Earl of Sandwich including tuna melts, Italian, veggie, and The Original 1762 which is a roasted beef, cheddar, and horseradish sauce creation. However, the fan favorite of Earl of Sandwich is The Holiday Sandwich. This delightful sandwich is stacked full of turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and mayo. The Holiday Sandwich is truly the epitome of Thanksgiving compressed into one sandwich vessel. Be sure to give it a try next time you find yourself at Disney Springs!
Lobster Roll – Columbia Harbor House
Our next sandwich is at Magic Kingdom and is a bit untraditional. As you make your way through Liberty Square you’ll come across Columbia Harbor House, a quick-service dining location that is themed to be as if you are dining on a colonial-American ship. Columbia Harbor House serves seafood classics for lunch and dinner such as New England shrimp boil, grilled salmon, and fried fish and shrimp. However, Columbia Harbor House is also home to one of my personal favorite sandwiches at Disney World: The Lobster Roll. The Lobster Roll consists of chilled lobster with mayonnaise on a bun (yes, it is a sandwich!) and is served with fresh hot fries. Columbia Harbor House’s Lobster Roll is the perfect combination of lobster and mayo, and is a really refreshing and savory way to spend lunchtime at the Magic Kingdom.
Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich – Regal Eagle Smokehouse
The sandwich tour now takes us to Regal Eagle Smokehouse located at the American Adventure pavilion in Epcot. Regal Eagle Smokehouse is a patriotic BBQ spot that serves beer, brisket, chicken, ribs, pork, and burgers. This quick-service restaurant also serves an incredible Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich. This brisket sandwich is rubbed to perfection, smoked, and served on Texas Toast. It is truly a delicious meal for any sandwich or brisket fan.
Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich – Woody’s Lunchbox
In Hollywood Studios you’ll find Woody’s Lunchbox located in Toy Story Land, and at Woody’s Lunchbox you’ll find our next sandwich. Shrink down to the size of a toy and enjoy the treats fresh out of Andy’s lunchbox. Woody’s Lunchbox is a quick-service dining location that serves a variety of food from Lunch Box Tarts to “Totchos”-potato barrels covered in chili, cheese, queso, and corn chips. There are a few different sandwiches to choose from at Woody’s Lunchbox, but my favorite is definitely the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich. You really can’t beat a classic grilled cheese sandwich, and Woody’s Lunchbox takes this concept to the next level. Provolone, Cheddar, and American cheese all come together on sourdough bread to make this sandwich truly amazing.
