Exploring Tomorrowland – Disneyland



Disneyland is a park that is full of magic as well as exciting attractions and intricately themed lands. There are 9 lands located within Disneyland including Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mainstreet USA, Critter Country, New Orleans Square, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Mickey’s Toontown. Guests who have vacations planned to Disneyland should familiarize themselves with all areas of the park in order to have the best experience possible. Join us as we explore Tomorrowland together.

Attractions

Astro Orbitor– Perfect for guests of all ages, this 3-person rocket flies high above Tomorrowland. Guests can even control the height of their rocket with the joystick control.

Autopia– Guests 32 inches or taller can ride as passenger, as guests 54 inches or taller drive these motorized cars throughout the racetrack. This attraction has been entertaining guests since the park’s opening day in 1955.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters– Calling all Space Rangers! Guests of all ages and heights can join forces with Buzz Lightyear and fire their laser blasters to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. This ride vehicle can be controlled by the guest and turns a full 360 degrees.

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage– Board a submarine that is actually partially submerged underwater! Guests can view the “ocean” sights through the windows and catch glimpses of their favorite Finding Nemo characters.

Space Mountain– This roller coaster is for guests 40 inches or taller and makes guests feel as if they are being launched through space. Using darkness, sound, and other lighting effects, Space Mountain is a classic attraction that remains popular to this day.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue– Climb aboard a spaceship and experience an adventure with your favorite Star Wars characters. Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is a 3D motion simulator attraction during which ride scenes are randomized, so you get a new experience each time you ride.

Food and Drink

Alien Pizza Planet– Feast on pizza, salad, and breadsticks as you enjoy the sights and sounds of Pizza Planet as inspired by the Toy Story films.

Galactic Grill- This quick-service restaurant serves great “fuel” for your trip to space including burgers, fish, chicken tenders, salad, and more.

Joffrey’s Revive Tomorrowland- Enjoy your favorite specialty Joffrey’s Coffee beverages and select pastries and desserts.

Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace- Only for select dining events, Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace gives guests a great view of Tomorrowland and the parks.

Entertainment and Other Experiences

Disneyland Monorail- This classic Disneyland attraction takes guests on a sky-high tour of Disneyland. Guests with valid theme park admission can catch the monorail at Downtown Disney Station and ride it directly into the park at the Tomorrowland station.

Disneyland Railroad Tomorrowland Station– The Disneyland Railroad features 4 stations, one of them being Tomorrowland Station. Trains arrive every 5-10 minutes, with the full train loop being 18 minutes long. Disneyland Railroad has scenery located throughout, and is also a convenient way of traveling throughout the park.
