Walt Disney World has no shortage of incredible dining locations, and several of these must-do dining spots reside within DVC resorts. But what about those nights where you are simply craving something sweet? DVC dining has plenty to offer for those with a bit of a sweet tooth. Here are some of the best dessert dining locations at DVC resorts!
Pineapple Lanai – Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Resort is home to DVC villas and bungalows and also home to Pineapple Lanai, a snack stand for those with a tropical sweet tooth. Pineapple Lanai is special because it is one of the few places on Disney property to get a famous Dole Whip. Pineapple Lanai is located outdoors near the main pool area and typically has shorter wait-times than Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom.
Guests can choose from a classic Dole Whip, a Pineapple Float, or a Dole Whip with Rum Floater.
Le Petit Café – Disney’s Riviera Resort
Right inside Disney’s Riviera Resort lobby is Le Petit Café, a Parisian-style eatery that serves delightful desserts, pastries, and drinks. In the mornings, Le Petit Café offers a wide variety of handcrafted coffee beverages including Almond Cold Brew and Lavender Iced Tea Lemonade. A rotating collection of pastries are served alongside other desserts like cakes and brownies. Le Petit Café also serves alcoholic beverages and cocktails, making it the perfect place to grab a sweet treat and a beverage any time of day.
Disney’s Riviera Resort is located right off of the Disney Skyliner which makes it a perfect pitstop while you are on your way to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Carousel Coffee – Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Another great sweet tooth destination is Carousel Coffee at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. This resort is located within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios so it is a wonderful idea to plan a side trip here if you aren’t already staying Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Carousel Coffee is an artisanal coffee shop serving fresh made pastries and desserts as well as handcrafted Joffrey coffee beverages. Guests can enjoy famous desserts like the NJ Crumb Cake, Raspberry Danishes, Seasonal Cupcakes, and Vintage Mickey Sugar Cookies, all while sipping a hot latte or iced coffee.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop – Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is home to a fan favorite ice cream shop: Beaches & Cream. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will transport guests back to the good old days where the local soda fountain served the best ice cream sundae you could find. Beaches & Cream serves delicious entrees of burgers, sandwiches, and grilled cheese. You can also find a selection of tater tots, chili, soups, and fries. But the desserts are the real star of the show at Beaches & Cream. Hand-scooped ice cream creations that take the form of sundaes, floats, and shakes are what keep guests coming back to Beaches & Cream. Guests can also indulge in cookie fries, strawberry shortcake, and brownies. There really is something for everyone at Beaches & Cream!
