Walt Disney World is full of classic Disney characters that appear in various experiences and rides throughout the park. The Disney Princesses have a strong presence throughout Walt Disney World. Here are the best things to see and do at Walt Disney World that involve the Disney Princesses!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Walt Disney World has something special for the younger Disney Princess fans! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a magical makeover experience for all children between ages 3 and 12. Guests can choose from a variety of packages of varying prices that include hair styling, makeup, a deluxe princess gown or knight costume, and accessories. Each child’s makeup is done by their very own Fairy Godmother. There is currently one locations for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in operation at Disney World. You will find it neae Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers are by reservation only, and this experience fills up fast so be sure to schedule your reservation as soon as you are able to.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Located in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a must-do for any Disney Princess fan. Dine on a family-style feast of Norwegian-inspiration as your favorite princess come to your table for a meet and greet. Akershus serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the princesses are available during all mealtimes. The Princesses who are available vary, but typically include Belle, Snow White, and Ariel. This experience is priced at $63 dollars per adult and $41 dollars per child for lunch and dinner.
Festival of Fantasy Parade and Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
Another great experience involving the Disney Princesses is Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy Parade. This parade runs through the Magic Kingdom twice per day beginning at 12pm and 3pm. Several beloved Disney characters are featured throughout this parade. The Disney Princesses who perform in this parade are Snow White, Belle, Ariel, Anna and Elsa, Rapunzel, and Tiana just to name a few.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire is another fantastic opportunity to see your favorite princesses in action. This show runs on the castle’s main stage several times throughout the day at Magic Kingdom. You can watch your favorite princesses perform songs from their films, such as Elsa singing “Let it Go” and Rapunzel singing “I’ve Got A Dream”.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Located inside of the castle at Magic Kingdom is another Princess dining opportunity. Cinderella’s Royal Table is a sit-down dining experience that is fit for royalty. Guests will dine in the castle’s banquet hall surrounding by Cinderella and other princess friends. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. This is a great reservation to make after your little princess gets her makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
Princess Meet and Greets
There are several princess meet and greets located throughout Walt Disney World. At the Magic Kingdom Cinderella and Elena can be found at Fairytale Hall, as well as Tiana and another visiting princess. Merida can be spotted at Fairytale Garden, and Ariel can be found at her grotto near the Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction.
In Epcot guests can find princesses throughout World Showcase. Jasmine is found in Morocco. Anna and Elsa can be found at Royal Sommerhus in Norway. Mulan can be spotted in China, Belle in France, and Snow White in Germany.
Currently the only princess you can meet in Animal Kingdom is Pocahontas, however Moana will be added as a meet and greet sometime this year.
Frozen Ever After
If you have a fan of Anna and Elsa in your party, then Frozen Ever After in Epcot is a must-do! This delightful boat ride takes you through Arendelle as you watch Anna and Elsa reenact their iconic scenes from the movie. This ride is suitable for guests of all ages and heights, and even features an in-ride photo!
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
Another iconic Disney princess dark ride is Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. This ride is located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, and transports guests under the sea to watch Ariel’s story. This ride is suitable for guests of all ages and heights, and is a must-do for any Ariel fan.
