5 Fun Things To Do At DVC’s Vero Beach

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a DVC resort located on the east coast of Florida, approximately 2 hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort. 1. Enjoy Rentals and Recreation at Eb and Flo Rentals

Eb and Flo Rentals is located inside the pool area and carries a variety of rentals that will make your vacation full of fun. Guests can rent bikes, complimentary sports balls, ping pong paddles, and more. Eb and Flo Rentals also has pool towels for guests to use as well as other amenities. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort has a 9-hole  pirate-themed miniature golf course, rates and equipment is available at Eb and Flo Rentals.

If you are looking for water sport rentals during your stay then be sure to check with the front desk for information on what is available to rent. Typically available are boogie boards, kayaks, and wave runners.

2. Fishing FUNdamentals

Guests can take a fishing course at Vero Beach’s own catch-and-release private lake. This course is an hour long and will teach you how to hook and bait your line and catch fish. Junior fisherman can keep their rods and reels for an additional fee. This class is only open to guests age 7 years or older. Reservations for this class are available at Eb and Flo Rentals.

3. Walk The Nature Trail

Not many guests know that Disney’s Vero Beach has an onsite nature trail. The nature trail is located across the street and guests can walk the trail via the “Peter Pan Tunnel”. Once through the tunnel guests will arrive at “The Jungle Trail”. This trail is actually listed on the National Historic Registry and stretches for 7 miles. This trail is for walking or biking and offers stunning views and informational signage along the way.

4. Enjoy Spa Services

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort also has a luxurious spa that offers services like massage, facials, body wraps, hand and foot treatments, bridal services, and hair treatments. A small menu of tween services for guests aged 6-12 is also available and consists of massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure.

5. Relax On A Private Beach and Take A Dip In A Heated Pool

Vero Beach Resort’s private beach is sparkling clean and full of white sand. Arrive early to reserve chairs or cabanas, or just bring your own gear and spend the day relaxing. Vero Beach Resort is a sea turtle nesting ground year-round, so be on the lookout for flags marking off nesting sites. Beachside food delivery is also available so you never have to leave the sand.  You are sure to fall in love with Vero’s private beach.

The pool is equipped with a 163 foot-long water slide as well as a jacuzzi and pirate-themed splash zone for small kids. Wind & Waves Market, and Wind & Waves Bar are located nearby for your convenience. Games are played throughout the day, and lifejackets and other pool equipment can be rented as well.
