How to Formally Compliment Disney Cast Members

Cast Member

I don’t know about you, but the Cast Members are my favorite part of a Walt Disney World Vacation. Every year, the Cast Members who interact with my family and I go out of their way to guarantee that our Disney vacation experience is as magical as can be. One year, the Cast Members upgraded our room to Club Level at check-in. The following year, they gave us a “Magical Moment” and allowed us complementary Lightning Lane passes at some of the headliner attractions. These little gestures might appear like no big deal to them, but to us, they meant everything. Their kindness deserves to be recognized.

How do you formally complement Cast Members? Read on to learn about two different ways to do this.

Write Handwritten Notes

My family loves to buy Disney postcards from our hotel gift shop on the day that we arrive. That night, we write thank-you notes for our cast members. The notes say, “Thank you for making our Disney day magical. Your kindness means the world to us.” The best part of this exercise is teaching little ones about the importance of showing gratitude. When the kids hand postcards to well-deserving Cast Members, the smiles on everyone’s faces are priceless.

Visit Guest Services

All theme parks have Guest Service locations inside and beyond the gates. Hours for Guest Services are the typical working hours for the area you visit. When you visit Guest Services, be sure to incorporate the name of the Cast Member, the date, the time, the location, and why you are complimenting the Cast Member.

Where are the Guest Services Locations?

Magic Kingdom: Guest Services will be found inside City Hall on Main Street, USA. Guests can find Guest Services just beyond the front gates, to the right of the ticket taps tiles, as they step into the park.

EPCOT: Guest Services will be found outside the primary entry, to the right of the ticket, and tap tiles as guests are walking into the park. Guest Services will also be found just outside of the International Gateway entry between the taps tiles and the Skyliner depot.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Guest Services will be found outside the tap tiles to the left as guests step into the park. It can also be found just inside the park, to the left, as guests step into it.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Guest Services will be found on the left as guests walk into the park.

Blizzard Beach: Guest Services will be found close to the Blizzard Beach Park entry.

Disney Springs: Guest Services will be found at the Disney Springs Welcome Center in the Town Center area.

ESPN Wide World of Sports: The Guest Services location for ESPN Wide World of Sports can be found just beyond the entrance.
