Why You Should Visit Disney’s Vero Beach Resort After Your Disney World Vacation

Vero Beach

Disney World vacations are full of magic, fun, and activities for your entire family. After the hustle and bustle of your Disney vacation you mind find yourself longing for some additional rest and relaxation. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is Disney’s very own beach resort located on the east coast of Florida, roughly 2 hours away from Walt Disney World in Orlando. My family really enjoys spending a few days relaxing at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort after we spend a few days at the Disney parks. It truly is a great way to unwind and prepare yourself for your eventual return to your everyday lives after enjoying the magic of Disney. Here are just a few reasons why you should visit Disney’s Vero Beach Resort after your Disney World vacation.

A Beach Vacation Without Compromising The Disney Magic

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort provides guests with a wonderful beach vacation experience without having to leave the Disney magic behind. Visiting Disney’s Vero Beach Resort after a Disney World vacation is the perfect compromise for families who love both the beach and Disney. This resort maintains the high standard that guests come to expect from Disney while allowing them to play on a pristine beach and enjoy fun themed pools. Little nods to Disney are seen throughout, and Disney merchandise can be purchased in the resort’s gift shop. Vero Beach’s pool is shaped like Mickey, and if you are quite lucky you might even catch a Disney character on their vacation as well!

Rest Your Body And Mind After a Busy Week

Disney World vacations are full of memories and magic, but they can leave families quite exhausted! After several days of walking and exploring the Disney parks your body and mind might be in need of some rest. What better way to relax after a busy week than lounging at the beach? Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a small resort, and the beach is just steps away from your resort room or villa. No need for any more long-distance walking!

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is also home to a full-service spa so you can treat yourself to a massage, facial, pedicure, or body wrap treatment.

Enjoy More of Florida

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort also provides guests with a unique opportunity to explore more of Florida. The historic Jungle Trail is located across the street from Vero Beach, and guests can travel under the road inside the Peter Pan tunnel which takes them to the historic 8-mile trail. This trail showcases Florida wildlife with informational signage and boasts stunning views of water and nature.

Prolong Your Vacation

The most obvious reason for visiting Disney’s Vero Beach Resort after your Disney World vacation is to prolong your vacation! If you have an excuse to remain in Florida rather than returning home, then why wouldn’t you take it? When you stay DVC at Disney’s Vero Beach you can comfortably stay in either a studio, 1-bedroom, or 2-bedroom villa. Private beachfront cabins that sleep up to 9 guests are available as well so the entire family can join you on your Disney beach vacation.
