The People Mover

This attraction is popular for a reason! The People Mover takes you on a birds’ eye tour of Tomorrowland and briskly moves you throughout the park and even behind the scenes. This attraction goes inside Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, and even Mickey’s Star Traders Gift Shop. The People Mover is the perfect attraction to board when you need to catch a breeze and rest your feet. The wind blowing through your hair as you embark on a peaceful journey through the land is the perfect way to relax. Some guests even consider this to be their favorite attraction in all of Disney World. It is one of those restful attractions that you’ll understand once you experience it for yourself. The People Mover is available for guests of all ages, so it can be utilized as a nap time attraction for little ones as well.

Carousel of Progress

This classic attraction is a piece of Disney history, and also the perfect resting spot. Carousel of Progress originally debuted during the 1964 World’s Fair, and was designed by Walt Disney himself. The show has had a permanent residency at Magic Kingdom for many years and has seen a few updates and changes but the overall premise remains the same with a focus on human progress and innovation. This audio-animatronic stage show runs for around 20 minutes which is just enough time to rest your feet and relax. The dim theater is great for kids who need a break from all of the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

This quick-service restaurant is perfect for relaxing and resting thanks to Sonny Eclipse! This audio-animatronic alien puts on a show while you munch on chicken tenders, burgers, and more. Sonny Eclipse will serenade you with his space hits while you relax in the dining room. Families with children love Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe because it keeps their kiddos entertained while they take a much-needed break.

Sitting, Snacking, People Watching

Overall, Tomorrowland is a great area for sitting, snacking, and people watching. There are benches and other seating areas throughout Tomorrowland, so grab a snack from The Lunching Pad and watch the crowd go by. Even the music in this land is relaxing; once you experience the blissful peace of resting here you won’t want to experience it any other way.
