Where To Make A Disney World Dining Reservation For Thanksgiving

Fall at Disney World

If you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation for Thanksgiving break this year, you might be wondering where you should eat for Thanksgiving Day. There are a few dining options that you might be drawn to for that special holiday meal. You might be surprised to find that some dining locations offer holiday favorites year-round!

Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World is actually a quite popular time to go, so you are going to want to be sure that you make Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you can (60 days prior or 60 days prior to the first day of your stay for resort guests).

Liberty Tree Tavern

Located in Liberty Square at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park, Liberty Tree Tavern pays tribute to America’s founding father era. This restaurant serves traditional New England-style fare in an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dining experience. This restaurant is perfect for Thanksgiving because of it’s offerings of roasted turkey, pot roast, pork, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb stuffing, and macaroni and cheese. For dessert, you can indulge in vanilla toffee cake.

Not only is the food perfect for Thanksgiving, but the ambience and old America-feel throughout this restaurant will have you feeling the holiday spirit!

Garden Grill

If you want traditional American cuisine for Thanksgiving but aren’t so much of a turkey fan, then you might enjoy dinner at the Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. This meal is also served family-style and is all-you-care-to-eat. Garden Grill will add some extra Disney magic to your Thanksgiving with its rotating dining floor showcasing views of the ride Living With The Land. Chip n Dale and friends will come to your table for a meet and greet while you eat.

Dinner includes a garden salad, BBQ roasted chicken, southern-style spoon bread, grilled beef with chimichurri, seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, and berry short cake for dessert. As you can see, this meal isn’t exactly traditional Thanksgiving dinner, however it has that southern home-cooked vibe that will remind you of being home for holidays.

Hollywood And Vine

Hollywood and Vine restaurant located at Hollywood Studios features a fun seasonal dining experience entitled “Minnie’s Holiday Dine”. This experience usually begins just before Thanksgiving so the timing is perfect for your Thanksgiving Break vacation! This is a character buffet experience featuring Mickey, Minnie, and pals dressed in their holiday best.

While this is technically a Christmas buffet, the food is definitely great for Thanksgiving too. The menu is subject to change every year, but last year’s offerings included oven-roasted turkey breast, pork, salmon, apple-blueberry pie, and cherry-lemon pie.

Earl Of Sandwich

Did you run out of time to make Advance Dining Reservations? Or maybe you are just looking for a more laid-back dining experience this holiday? Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs is a counter-service restaurant featuring a variety of sub sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups. If you aren’t planning on hitting up a Disney park this Thanksgiving, then Earl of Sandwich is a great option.

Earl of Sandwich is a great Thanksgiving option for one reason: the Holiday Turkey sandwich!  This sandwich is available year-round and features turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise. After you finish your Thanksgiving sandwich, you can grab a head-start on your holiday shopping at Disney Springs.
