Dining at Disney World is an experience of its own. With so many restaurants to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout all 4 parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney resorts. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a busy park that is full of attractions, wonder, and walking! Food will be an important part of your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. If sitting down at a restaurant and eating a large meal isn’t really your style, then there are plenty of options for lighter fare during your visit. If you want something light, check out these options on where to eat.
Eight Spoon Cafe
Located in the Discovery Island section of the park, Eight Spoon Cafe is a great spot to visit for a quick pick-me-up. At Eight Spoon Cafe, guests can choose from a variety of treats and smaller meals. Guests love the Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork or with Buffalo Chicken, and they also enjoy the Buffalo Chicken Chips topped with Italian relish and Blue Cheese. Guests can also enjoy bite-sized churros with a variety of dipping sauces. Guests can also enjoy The Simba Drink which is a Mango-flavored Slushy with Grenadine and two Gummy Candies.

The Smiling Crocodile
Also located in Discovery Island, The Smiling Crocodile has some more unique menu items that you can grab quickly and even take on the go. The Pulled Pork Cheese Arepa is served with Plantain chips, and there’s a pulled chicken variety available as well. Guests can also enjoy the Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava Juice Limeade with Chili-Lime Seasoning.

Trek Snacks
Located in the Asia section of the park, Trek Snacks serves everything classic. Guests can enjoy popcorn, Mickey pretzels with cheese, ice cream, and assorted beverages.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
In the Africa section of the park you’ll find Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. This quick-service restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the perfect place to stop for a bite in the early morning. Serving Overnight Oats, Breakfast Totchos, and an Egg and Bacon Croissant Sandwich. This coffee shop and bakery also serves a variety of pastries, and Coconut-flavored Iced Coffee from Joffrey’s Coffee. Guests can also get coffee cocktails with liquor, and other drinks.

Harambe Market
If you want something casual with food for the whole family to enjoy then head over to the Africa section of the park and check out Harambe Market. This quick-service restaurant has open-air seating, and a menu that is friendly for both picky eaters and more adventurous ones. Harambe Market serves cheeseburgers, chicken strips, the Savanna Salad containing Mixed Greens, Lentils, Carrots, Couscous, Kachumbari, Toasted Almonds, and Citrus-Harissa Dressing, and the Harissa Chicken Wrap featuring Chilled Tandoori Rotisserie Chicken with Harissa Mayonnaise wrapped in a Flour Tortilla and served with French Fries.
