Where To Eat At Magic Kingdom When You Want To Sit Down And Cool Off

Be Our Guest

Disney World vacations are full of attractions, shows, entertainment, and dining. The Disney parks are large and walking from one attraction to another can take a significant amount of energy. Sometimes guests just want to sit down, relax, and enjoy a break. That’s when enjoying a meal at one of Disney’s many restaurants can work out beautifully. Not only can you replenish your energy with delicious food, but you can also enjoy a seated and air-conditioned break from the heat. Here are some of our places to eat in Magic Kingdom when you want to sit down and enjoy a break from the heat!

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

Located in Tomorrowland, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe has a dining room that is entirely indoors and air-conditioned. This indoor dining space also features some live entertainment with the animatronic singing alien: Sonny Eclipse. This is a great restaurant for families to visit because the food is popular with kids and adults (burgers, chicken tenders, and fries), and the kids love sitting and watching Sonny Eclipse perform. This quick-service restaurant will cool you off and leave you feeling refreshed and ready to get back to the park.

Liberty Tree Tavern

Also located in Liberty Square, Liberty Tree Tavern is a table-service restaurant that many guests consider a must-do experience. Serving an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast of American classics, this family-style meal will be an experience you won’t soon forget. Guests will love the colonial-style dining room, and they’ll love the Thanksgiving-inspired food even more. Enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and so much more.

The Crystal Palace

Another table-service restaurant that provides an excellent break from the heat is Crystal Palace. Located off of Main Street USA, this restaurant is a character dining experience featuring Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. Guests enjoy a buffet meal of American classics like carved prime rib, macaroni and cheese, baked salmon, and more. The characters visit your table during this experience so you can meet your favorite pals without having to wait outside in the heat.
