Guests who are planning their first vacation to Disney World are usually a bit surprised at how large the parks and resorts are. There are so many experiences in the Disney parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Sometimes it can feel impossible to do everything you want to do during your Disney vacation. There are several dining experiences throughout the parks and resorts. If you have multiple dining experiences that you’re interested in it can be difficult to find time for them all. If you want to fit multiple restaurant experiences into one day, then continue reading for some tips and tricks!

Limit Travel Between Resorts and Parks

In order to maximize your time throughout the day, limiting travel time is essential. Make note of the locations of the dining experiences you want to enjoy. Some dining locations are located at Disney parks, some at Disney Springs, and others are at Disney resorts. Hopping from park to park can be very time consuming, so it’s best to schedule meals at restaurants that are all located within the same park, or at nearby resorts. For example, going from Magic Kingdom to resorts on the monorail line can be quick and easy. Resorts like Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Beach Club can be quickly accessed during a day at EPCOT. Disney’s Riviera Resort is just a quick Skyliner ride away from Hollywood Studios.

Make Advance Dining Reservations

Making advance dining reservations and booking as soon as possible is the key to maintaining an efficient schedule for your Disney vacation. Advance dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance of your check-in day for the entire length of your stay. When you book early, you’ll be have more options for timing and it will be much easier to schedule your day.

Make Compromises on Time

If you truly want to enjoy multiple dining experiences in one day you’ll have to be okay with compromising your time for other things. Sit-down dining at Disney will usually take about an hour of your time depending on the experience. This can take away time from other things in the parks like attractions and shows.

Book Early; Book Late

In order to fit more dining experiences into one day you’ll have to start dining early, and finish dining late. Booking breakfast experiences for first thing in the morning will give you more time to enjoy the parks during later morning. For dinner, many restaurants continue operating until the park closes. A late dinner is a great way to end a day at the parks, and guests can enjoy an empty park while they exit.
