Attraction Overview
The Walt Disney World Railroad (WDWRR) is a cherished attraction located within the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort. It’s a 3-foot narrow-gauge heritage railroad that offers a grand circle tour of the park.
As you enter the Magic Kingdom, the Main Street Train Station is an unmissable sight. This scenic stop is the first spot where you’ll hear “all aboard” before the train begins its journey. The train travels around the Magic Kingdom on authentic steam power, with stations located in Main Street USA, Frontierland, and Fantasyland.
This attraction is a testament to Walt Disney’s love of trains. The journey is a slow-moving, 20-minute scenic round-trip covering approximately 1.5 miles. Recently, the iconic train has reopened after being closed for an almost 2 year period, bringing joy to park guests once again!
