If you’re a fan of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Space Mountain, or Expedition Everest, then we have some great news for you!
Disney announced today that all four of these attractions will remain part of Genie+, the company’s $15 service that allows guests to reserve a time slot and skip the regular line at select attractions. These four attractions were originally added to Genie+ temporarily, which was set to expire on August 8th, 2022.
Now, Disney has announced their decision to keep these top attractions as a part of the Genie+ service permanently. This means park guests will no longer be required to purchase individual lightning lane passes to skip the lines at these popular attractions.
So if you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World in the next few years, be sure to add Genie+ to your list of must-haves! It can get a little pricey when you have a large party, but it can save you a huge amount of time by avoiding the lines. We do recommend the Genie+ service to guests visiting the park for the first time, or if you’re short on time and will be doing some park-hopping to fit all the parks in less than a four-day trip.
So, are you happy to see Disney trying to add additional value to the Genie+ service? Have you used the service, and if so, what are your thoughts? We’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
