Overview
If you take the rightward route around EPCOT’s World Showcase, the first dining option you will run into is The Refreshment Port. This walk-up quick service location sits just before the Canada Pavilion. Because of its location, you will find some traditional Canadian dishes along with American classics and refreshing beverages.
One of the Canadian dishes that you can get at The Refreshment Port is poutine. This snack, which is believed to have originated in Québec, is a bed of fries topped with beef gravy and cheese curds. During the different festivals offered at EPCOT, like the International Food and Wine Festival, you may find specialty poutine options available. Currently, you can get the Braised Beef Poutine which is french fries served with Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs, Cheese Sauce, Cheese Curds, and Gherkin Relish.
Along with Canadian delicacies, there are American fare on The Refreshment Port menu. For a savory snack, you can get one Disney’s typical park meals: Chicken Breast Nuggets. These 8 piece nuggets are served with french fries. If you want something sweet, you can’t go wrong with the Soft-serve Waffle Cone. As the name suggests, there are also refreshments, like fountain sodas and beer, available at The Refreshment Port.
