Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is an incredible DVC resort located on the east coast of Florida, about two hours away from Walt Disney World. This resort is located right on the beautiful beach, and guests can hear the ocean as soon as they exit the lobby! While Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a great vacation destination for those who want to spend as much time on the beach as possible, it is also packed with several other things to do. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is so much more than just the beach. If you are interested in vacationing at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and you want to do more than sit on the beach then check out these non-beach activities!

Enjoy the Pool

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is known for their beautiful private beach, but they are also home to an incredible heated pool, splash play area, and hot tub. The pool area at Vero Beach comes equipped with life jackets for the little ones, various pool toys like diving rings and pool noodles, and even poolside games and trivia. The pool itself is heated and features a twisting Lighthouse waterslide. The Tiger Lily pirate ship is nearby and features a mini waterslide for little ones and various squirting water features. A jetted hot tub is available for the grown-ups to enjoy. Pool towels are available at Eb & Flo’s Rentals, and there are several tables and lounge chairs throughout.

Activities at the Community Hall

If guests need to stay dry but keep busy then the Community Hall is a great place to be. The Community Hall is full of activities both free and additional paid experiences. Guests can check with the front desk for a full list of offerings during their stay, but some examples of activities offered include Mickey Tie-Dye, crafts for those under 5, shell painting, canvas painting, and more.

Mini-Golf

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is home to a fun mini-golf course, Port Holes Miniature Golf. This 9-hole golf course is open until 7pm and is great for guest of all ages and abilities. Clubs and balls can be found free of charge at Eb & Flo’s Rentals.

Bike Rental

Bikes can be rented at Eb & Flo’s Rentals for either an hourly or daily rate. Guests can take their bikes on the beach, or to the historic Jungle Trail across the street. There is an entrance to the Jungle Trail through a tunnel near Eb & Flo’s. The Historic Jungle Trail is an 8-mile sandy road that was first constructed in the 1920s.

The Spa

Need a break from the outdoors? Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is home to a full-service spa offering massage, hand and foot services, body wraps, facials, and more. Guests should ask the front desk for a full menu of services and pricing.

Sports and Games

There are several other sports and games that are available to participate in at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Equipment for Shuffleboard, Ping Pong, Soccer, and Corn Hole can be borrowed free of charge at Eb & Flo’s Rentals.
