Must-Do’s in EPCOT World Showcase’s Germany Pavilion



Biergarten

EPCOT‘s World Showcase is an incredible collection of 11 country pavilions that give guests a cultural experience without actually having to travel. Each country pavilion within World Showcase represents itself uniquely and authentically, with representatives from each country having worked on the construction of its pavilion. There are several attractions and things to do and see throughout World Showcase, with each pavilion featuring different things. The Germany pavilion is located in-between China and Italy, making it the 4th country from the left and the 8th country from the right. If you are planning a trip to EPCOT and wish to experience World Showcase then check out these must-do’s in the Germany pavilion.

Biergarten

If you are looking to experience authentic German cuisine, and German entertainment, then look no further than Biergarten. This sit-down dining experience not only features an all-you-care-to-enjoy German buffet full of schnitzel, sauerkraut, and bratwurst, but also live entertainment in the form of a German polka band. Biergarten is a lively restaurant that is full of authentic atmosphere and food, and is truly a must-do experience.

Sommerfest

If you still want to experience German cuisine but you don’t have the time for a sit-down meal, then check out Sommerfest. This quick-service restaurant is right next to Biergarten and serves bratwurst, pretzel bread pudding, jumbo pretzels, and of course an assortment of German beers.

Karamelle-Kuche

Your sweet tooth will thank you for visiting Karamelle- Kuche. This German sweet shop is all about caramel, and guests can enjoy caramel popcorn, caramel apples, chocolate-covered caramels, and so much more.

Stein Haus

Looking to do some shopping? Stein Haus is a shop located within the Germany pavilion that sells perhaps the most authentic German souvenir: steins! Steins of all varieties and price points can be found here. Steins make great gifts for folks back home, and are the perfect souvenirs to use during everyday life. There are several other shops throughout the Germany pavilion as well where one can find great German goods.

Bier Refreshment Stand

Germany is the perfect World Showcase country for sampling different German beers. Bier Refreshment Stand is located within the pavilion and serves German beers on tap as well as jumbo pretzels for snacking.

Model Trains

Many guests don’t realize that the Germany pavilion is home to an incredible model train system. An entire mini village can be found within the railways of this model train system, and guests can walk throughout the track area in order to take in all of the various details. This is a great spot for lingering and resting, and guests can enjoy viewing this area while finishing their German beer or snacking on their giant pretzels. This attraction is quite popular for the little one as well, or anyone who has a love of trains in their heart.
