Disney enthusiasts and Star Wars fans alike have a thrilling reason to rejoice! Walt Disney World is set to introduce a unique photographic experience that will transport you into the heart of the Star Wars universe. This immersive adventure, offered through the Disney PhotoPass Service, promises to capture your journey through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A New Star Wars Photographic Adventure
Starting January 24th, visitors to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have the chance to book a private 20-minute photo session within the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge setting. Known as ‘Capture Your Moment‘, these sessions are designed to document your intergalactic journey, with Batuu Image Specialists (otherwise known as Disney PhotoPass photographers) guiding you through the process.
Capture Your Moment Details
During your Capture Your Moment session, the Image Specialists, armed with advanced holoscanning tools, will accompany you around Batuu. They will capture your images against iconic backgrounds such as the Millennium Falcon, a First Order Shuttle, or the bustling market in Black Spire Outpost. You can also choose other stunning landscapes within the park for your photoshoot.
Pricing & Reservations
Each Capture Your Moment session costs $99 and can accommodate up to eight guests. It’s important to note that the price of the session does not include the photos themselves. However, those who have a Disney PhotoPass entitlement like Memory Maker or Memory Maker One Day, or qualifying Annual Passholders with a Disney PhotoPass download benefit, can download the photos taken during a session at no additional cost. Photos can also be purchased individually.
Reservations for these sessions open on January 17th and can be made up to 60 days in advance. It is highly recommended to make early reservations due to high demand, although a limited number of same-day reservations may be available.
Important Information
While the Capture Your Moment sessions offer a unique opportunity to document your Star Wars adventure, they don’t provide access to attractions, Oga’s Cantina, or Savi’s Workshop. The session locations are subject to change based on weather conditions and park operations. Also, clothing that drags on the ground or wedding attire is not permitted during the photoshoot.
