How to Spend a Midday Break at DVC’s Bay Lake Tower

Bay Lake Tower

Staying at a DVC resort on the monorail line is a great way to be connected to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT and have quick and easy access to and from the parks. Many guests find themselves to become a bit exhausted by the time midday rolls around, and several families find a benefit in taking a midday break from the parks and enjoying time at their resort. Guests who are staying at DVC’s Bay Lake Tower, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, are able to take breaks back at their resort thanks to the convenient monorail access. If you are staying at DVC’s Bay Lake Tower and find  yourself in need of a midday break then here are just a few ideas!

Take a Dip in the Pool

Disney’s Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary Resort is home to two pools. The main pool is a fun and lively enviroment with a waterslide, beachfront view, and various hosted poolside activities like trivia and pool games. Cabanas are available to rent and come with Smart TVs, mini fridges, snacks, and more. The Feature Pool also has a splash pad play area for little kids, and a whirlpool spa for adults. Another pool is located nearby for those who wish for a more restful pool experience. The resort’s leisure pool is for all-ages, but splashing and loud noises are discouraged so guests who need to really relax can do so!

Guests can easily spend their entire midday break gaming at this fun arcade. If video games aren’t really your thing you can also play a variety of sports using one of The Contemporary’s several game courts. Guests can enjoy basketball, tennis, and volleyball without ever leaving their resort.
