Exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a park that is not only filled with the magic of the movies and old Hollywood, but it is also home to incredible intricately themed lands. Galaxy’s Edge first opened in 2019 and has been delighting Star Wars fans ever since. Galaxy’s Edge features a foreign planet called Batuu which was created specifically for the Disney parks. This new planet is full of attractions, shops, dining, and so much more. Guests of Galaxy’s Edge will really feel as if they are journeying through another planet. Attractions

Millennium Falcon-Smugglers Run-Guests 38 inches or taller can take control of the Millennium Falcon. A must-do for any Star Wars fan, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, allows guests to pilot the beloved ship of Han Solo. Guests are assigned a role upon entering the attraction and must work together as a team to pilot the ship during this interactive experience. This attraction is fun for everyone, not just Star Wars fans!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance– One of the most immersive attractions of all time, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance begins the moment guests enter the attraction’s queue. Guests are taken captive by the First Order and then assist the Resistance during their escape. This attraction features incredible theming, even the Cast Members play roles as First Order members. This attraction is a dark-ride/thrill-ride combination, and is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. This attraction is for guests 40 inches or taller.

Dining

Oga’s Cantina– Have you ever wished you could experience a Star Wars bar? Oga’s Cantina gives you this opportunity. Reservations are recommended, and Oga’s is suitable for guests of all ages. Guests can enjoy specialty Star Wars cocktails like the Carbon Freeze, or Hyper Drive (Punch It!). Non-alcoholic beverages are available as well.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo– This quick-service restaurant will have you feel as if you are dining in an inter-galactic hangar bay. Guests can enjoy signature space dishes like Ronto Wraps and Endorian Tip Yip.

Ronto Roasters- Need a quick and savory snack? Ronto Roasters serves Ronto Wraps, Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Slaw wrapped in Pita Bread. Also served are Kyryll Pork Rinds as well as various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Milk Stand– Have you always wanted to try the Blue Milk from the Star Wars films? Now is your chance! The Milk Stand serves both Blue and Green milk, served frozen.

Kat Saka’s Kettle– This snack stand serves popcorn like the Outpost Popcorn Mix, which features sweet and spicy flavors. Bottled beverages are available for purchase as well.

  • Savi’s Workshop- Guests can build their own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. Advance reservations are required for this experience.
  • Droid Depot- Guests are invited to build droids at Droid Depot. Advance reservations are required for this experience.

Characters and Entertainment

Meet Chewbacca and other characters- You never know who you might find wandering throughout Galaxy’s Edge. Chewbacca, Rey, Mando, as well as Stormtroopers can be found throughout the day.
