DVC’s Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a great option for guests who want quick and easy access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. DVC’s Bay Lake Tower is located on the Monorail line which is extremely convenient for all guests but especially families. This resort has plenty to offer guests including great dining, pools, and entertainment. Guests of Bay Lake Tower and Disney’s Contemporary Resort will also find some great shopping as well. Villas

The rooms at Bay Lake Tower including deluxe studios with theme park views or water views, as well as 1,2, and 3-bedroom villas. Each room includes a balcony, and the multi-bedroom villas are equipped with full kitchens and laundry equipment. Deluxe studios can sleep up to 4 adults, with 1-bedroom villas sleeping up to 5 adults, 2-bedroom villas sleeping up to 9 adults, and 3-bedroom villas sleeping up to 12 adults.

Dining

California Grill– This Signature Dining Experience is located on the 15th floor of The Contemporary Resort. Not only will guests get a stunning view of Magic Kingdom, but also of the fireworks show if they have a reservation during the appropriate time. This restaurant serves a 3-course meal that will please anyone’s palette.

Chef Mickey’s- This lively character buffet is open for breakfast or dinner and is a great opportunity to meet the “Fab Five” of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto.

Contempo Cafe- This quick-service restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring classic food like burgers and flatbreads, as well as more unique foods like the Crispy Tofu Bowl.

Steakhouse 71– This casual sit-down restaurant is a delicious steakhouse serving the finest cuts of beef with a vintage atmosphere reminiscent of the 1970s.

Contemporary Grounds- This full-service coffee shop will serve specialty coffee beverages as well as pastries and desserts.

Cove Bar- This pool bar is only for guests of Bay Lake Tower and DVC members and serves specialty cocktails and other alcoholic beverages.

Outer Rim– This bar and lounge is located within the main concourse of Contemporary Resort and serves alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

The Sand Bar-This pool bar near the main pool serves a variety of beverages and small bites and quick-service entrees.

Pools

Disney’s Bay Lake Tower has an exclusive pool with a 20 foot waterslide, whirlpool spa, and water play area. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is also home to another pool with waterslide, as well as leisure pool for a more quiet swimming experience.

Entertainment

Other entertainment opportunities at Disney’s Contemporary Resort include shopping within the main Grand Canyon Concourse, Bay Lake Tower’s Community Hall, viewing of the nightly Electrical Water Pageant, campfire activities, movies under the stars, The Game Station Arcade, motorized boat rentals, guided fishing excursions, specialty cruises, and tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts.

Amenities

Amenities at Bay Lake Tower and Disney’s Contemporary Resort include monorail access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, a walking path to Magic Kingdom, water and bus transportation, housekeeping services, and laundry services.
