Disney’s Wilderness Loge

There’s no better resort to look for outdoor activities than Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This resort combines luxury with the great outdoors. Even the resort’s lobby reminds us of the wilderness. This resort hosts a number of outdoor activities. Every evening Wilderness Lodge hosts campfire activities. Guests can roast marshmallows and tell stories as they participate in this classic activity. Nightly movies under the stars are also shown for guests. Wilderness Lodge also hosts paid fishing excursions, offers jogging trails, and boat rentals.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort

This resort brings the wonderful Hawaiian islands to Central Florida. Disney’s Polynesian Resort is home to great outdoor activities like their Lava Pool with a twisting waterslide and splash playground for little ones. Disney’s Polynesian Resort also hosts nightly campfires and movies under the stars. Sandy lakeside beaches are also available for guests to relax at. Disney’s Polynesian Resort is also home to volleyball courts and jogging trails, as well as paid fishing excursions and boat rentals.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

This resort is located off the monorail line has has many areas to explore. Whether you are taking your time exploring the beautiful Victorian-style lobby, or walking the well-maintained grounds, you will always find something to do at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This resort hosts nightly movies under the stars, is home to several playgrounds for children, and offers a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant that runs along Bay Lake each night. This resort also offers paid fishing excursions, boat rentals, and even fireworks cruises.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

This resort has wonderful outdoor activities that you can’t find anywhere else on property! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has animal viewing zones where you can see giraffes, zebras, flamingoes, and so much more. This resort is also home to a wonderful pool, nightly campfires, and movies under the stars.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

This resort isn’t located on Disney World property, but it does have its fair share of outdoor activities! Located on the east coast of Florida, Disney’s Vero Beach resort is home to a beautiful private beach. There’s a large, heated pool nearby as well as a splash playground for little ones, mini golf, shuffleboard, and other outdoor games.
