Disney’s Hollywood Studios Rides that Are Better At Night

The Disney parks are full of attractions, shows, food, and entertainment. Many guests prefer to arrive at the parks as soon as they open in order to have the entire day to play at the parks. Mornings at the parks are a great opportunity for guests to get in line before they fill up or grab coffee and stroll throughout the park. But what about evenings and nights at the parks? Nighttime at the Disney parks has a way of being even more magical than daytime. In fact, certain Disney attractions are even more fun to experience after dark. Here are some of Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ rides that are even better at night.

Tower of Terror

This attraction is thrilling during the day but even more so at night! Tower of Terror is a thrill ride with a height requirement of 40 inches. Everything about this experience is more spooky at night, even the outdoor queue area through the gardens. Most of this attraction occurs indoors, but there is a point in the ride where the elevator doors open and you overlook the park. During the day this aspect is spooky, but at night this takes it to a whole new level! Tower of Terror is an absolute must-do experience for thrill seekers, and even more so at night.

Slinky Dog Dash

L0cated in Toy Story Land, this roller coaster is a family roller coaster that every guest loves. Slinky Dog Dash has a height requirement of 38 inches which makes it the perfect coaster for kiddos who love a thrill. This attraction is fun during the day, but zipping through the track at night makes it even more special. Many guests report feeling like the ride moves faster at night thanks to the darkness. Guests can still get a great view of Hollywood Studios from this attraction at night, thanks to the lighting throughout the track.

Alien Swirling Saucers

Another Toy Story attraction that guests love is Alien Swirling Saucers. This attraction can be ridden at night for an enhanced experience thanks to the lighting and atmosphere that the night time will bring. Guests can swirl and spin as they enjoy this attraction with just a 32 inch height requirement so the whole family can enjoy it together.

Rise Of The Resistance

Located in Galaxy’s Edge, this attraction is great to ride at night but not for the reasons you might think. Rise of the Resistance is even better at night because you can experience shorter wait times if you enter the queue right before the park closes. As long as you are in line the minute the park closes you will be able to experience this attraction. Waiting until night is a good way to get a shorter line without paying for Lightning Lane.
