The Disney parks are full of attractions, shows, food, and entertainment. Many guests prefer to arrive at the parks as soon as they open in order to have the entire day to play at the parks. Mornings at the parks are a great opportunity for guests to get in line before they fill up or grab coffee and stroll throughout the park. But what about evenings and nights at the parks? Nighttime at the Disney parks has a way of being even more magical than daytime. In fact, certain Disney attractions are even more fun to experience after dark. Here are some of EPCOT’s rides that are even better at night.
Test Track
Test Track is one of EPCOT’s best thrill rides, and it is made even more thrilling when you ride it after dark. Test Track allows guests to take part in vehicle testing for the future. Most of this attraction is indoors and features tight turns, fast acceleration, and fun special effects. But the outdoor portion, the grand finale of the ride, is even more thrilling in the dark. Guests zip through a banked turn during the outdoor portion of the ride and reach a top speed of 65 miles per hour. With a height limit of 40 inches, this attraction is perfect for even the younger thrill seekers in your family.

Living With the Land
This gentle attraction is again mostly indoors, but when guests travel through EPCOT’s working greenhouse, doing so at night can give them an entirely new experience. The greenhouse at night is well lit so guests can still see everything during this portion. They can also see how some plants close up at night, and the changes of the plants throughout the day. Living With the Land might be the only attraction in the Disney parks to change slightly throughout the day!

Spaceship Earth
Many guests don’t realize that the park’s icon, Spaceship Earth, is an attraction. Inside this giant EPCOT ball is a slow-moving dark ride that takes you through the history of time and explores humanity. While this ride takes place entirely indoors, we still recommend heading this way at night in order to check out the colorful lights that adorn the outside of the attraction. These lights change colors, patterns, and even play light shows that are connected to music.

Journey of Water-Inspired by Moana
This attraction is great to visit at night for wonderful lights and a different experience than you get during the day. Journey of Water-Inspired by Moana is a walkthrough attraction that guests explore at their own pace. The water features come to life at night in a new way with enhanced lighting. The crowd tends to thin around nighttime for this experience as well.
