A day at Disney World can easily become tiring. Walking long distances, the Florida sun, and getting up early can all take a toll on the body. Guests visiting the Disney parks might find themselves looking for places to sit and rest, and taking every opportunity available to them in order to do so. But taking a break at Disney World doesn’t have to mean pausing the fun. There are several attractions that guests can utilize for a break while still keeping the magic going. Here are a few of our favorite attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that feel like a break.
Festival of the Lion King
If you need a break from the heat and walking then a show is the perfect way to rest. Festival of the Lion King is a Broadway-style show showcasing your favorite scenes and songs from the classic Disney film. Guests are entertained with live singing, dancing, acrobatics, and animatronics. This can’t miss show is around 20 minutes long which is just enough time for a break.

Finding Nemo The Big Blue and Beyond
Another stage show at Animal Kingdom that you just can’t miss is Finding Nemo The Big Blue and Beyond. This Broadway-style show is a must-do for many guests! Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond is a musical adventure featuring puppetry and other live performances. This show runs for around 25 minutes; the perfect amount of time for sitting and relaxing. This is a must-do for many guests, and it’s also a great way to see your favorite Finding Nemo (and Finding Dory!) characters on stage.

Zootopia Better Zoogether
Animal Kingdom’s newest attraction is a 4D show experience at the Tree of Life Theater in Discovery Island called Zootopia: Better Zoogether. Join Nick, Judy Hopps, and other characters from the Zooptopia films as they celebrate Zoogether day. This show features 3D effects as well as 4D real life effects like shaking seats, water, and other surprises. This attraction is perfect for taking a break because it’s seated, air-conditioned, and around 15 minutes long.

Kilimanjaro Safaris
This attraction is popular for a reason! Kilimanjaro Safaris is a great attraction for sitting and taking a break while still enjoying the magic of the Animal Kingdom park. Kilimanjaro Safaris is a long attraction, around 20 minutes in length, but guests are seated in a safari vehicle the entire time. You’ll see animals that you can’t see anywhere else like lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and so much more.

Wildlife Express Train
Another attraction that will feel like a break is the Wildlife Express Train. This train ride is around 15 minutes long and breezy. This train will take you to Conservation Station where the new Bluey character experience lies.
