Test Track

EPCOT is a park that celebrates innovation and creativity, and Test Track is an attraction that combines thrills with interactive participation. At Test Track, guests design their own virtual concept car prior to boarding the attraction. Once seated, the virtual concept cars are put through the test as guests take part in the same testing protocols used in real life. This attraction features tight turns, sudden stops, and top speeds up to 65 miles per hour making it the fastest attraction at Walt Disney World. Once the ride concludes guests can see how their concept car performed and compare them to the other cars that had been designed. Some families might even turn this attraction into a competition! Test Track has a height requirement of 40 inches or taller and is overall a very smooth thrill ride!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

EPCOT’s newest attraction is also one of their most thrilling! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a roller coaster that has been expertly imagineered. Starring Starlord, Gamora, Groot, and all of your favorites from Guardians of the Galaxy, this thrilling coaster takes place entirely indoors and features a pretty awesome soundtrack as well. This roller coaster is a fast-paced chase through space and features state-of-the-art effects including ride vehicles that rotate 360 degrees, and large screens portraying outer-space as well as other scenes. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is also the first ever roller coaster to feature a backwards launch, reaching an impressive top speed of 60 miles per hour. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has a height requirement of 42 inches or taller, and guests who are prone to motion sickness should express caution while riding.

Mission: SPACE

This next thrill ride has an option for those who enjoy a slightly calmer thrill ride experience. Mission: SPACE is a high-tech spaceship launch simulation ride that puts guests through the type of training that real astronauts receive prior to a trip to outer-space! Guests board Mission: SPACE  Orange Mission and sit in the cockpit of a space shuttle simulator and are launched to Mars and subjected to intense g-force. This attraction spins to simulate the g-force that astronauts receive during their training, and guests who are prone to motion sickness may not want to ride. Mission: SPACE Orange Mission has a height requirement of 44 inches or taller.

For guests who wish for a more mild but still equally thrilling experience, Green Mission is another version of the same ride that uses a motion simulator rather than a spinning mechanism. Green Mission is for guests 40 inches or taller, and is perfect for those who still want to experience the attraction but might not be ready for the levels of g-force that Orange Mission provides. Whichever version of the attraction you choose, you are in for a thrilling experience!
