7 Unique Engagement Proposal Locations At Disney World

Couple getting engaged at Disney

Walt Disney World is one of the most romantic destinations in the world. For generations, guests have come from all over the world to celebrate engagements, weddings, honeymoons, and anniversaries. The magic of Disney is often an important part of starting a couple’s love story.

While you’ve most likely seen the popular proposals made in front of the castle in Magic Kingdom, we’ve put together a list of 7 unique places across Walt Disney World to propose.

Polynesian Village Beach

Looking to propose in a tropical paradise while at Disney? Then the Polynesian Village is the place for you. With excellent views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Magic Kingdom, and the neighboring resorts, this beach themed resort is very picturesque. This location is beautiful for photos whether you’re looking for a daytime or nighttime proposal. At night you can see the fireworks across the lagoon while the soundtrack plays across the resort.

Liberty Belle

Board the gorgeous Liberty Belle Steamboat in Magic Kingdom to take a water tour of Frontierland and Liberty Square. Take advantage of this 17-minute ride across the Rivers of America to escape the crowds. This beautiful boat is even more stunning when lit up at night and offers excellent views of the fireworks.

Canada Pavillon Garden

This romantic paradise tucked away from the main flow of traffic at Epcot is the perfect location to pop the question. With breathtaking Victorian-style “Hotel du Canada” inspired by the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa and the sweeping landscaping of the gardens, this is one of the most romantic spots in all of Disney.

Waterfall Beside Tree of Life

Tucked away beside the iconic Tree of Life inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of the most secluded and romantic spots in all of Walt Disney World. The breathtaking views of the waterfall, quiet walkways, and gorgeous views of the water and plant life are sure to make for a memorable and romantic location to pop the question.

Pandora

The land of Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is one of the most stunning locations on the property (in my opinion), especially at night. The bioluminescence brings a heightened beauty to an already gorgeous area.

Topolinos Terrace

Enjoy a delicious meal of French cuisine on top of Disney’s Riviera Resort while you enjoy the breathtaking views of the resort and Epcot. If you time it just right you can catch Epcot’s firework show across the night sky. If you prefer an outdoor atmosphere, there is a breathtaking balcony outside the dining room that offers romantic views of the area.

Millennium Falcon

This is the perfect location for Star Wars fans. Whether you pop the question outside in front of the big ole hunk of junk in all her glory or inside the ship for a cozier atmosphere among iconic sights this is sure to be a location to remember! How cool would it be to say you got engaged on the Millennium Falcon!?
