The Most Overlooked Details at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

Saratoga Springs

Disney World is a vacation destination that is well-known for its theme parks like Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But some guests still don’t realize that Disney World is so much more than just attractions and shows. Disney World is just that, a massive world containing things to do and places to stay. Staying on property during your Disney vacation can unlock even more magic, and guests don’t even have to leave resort grounds to enjoy their trip. Staying at a DVC resort means you can experience deluxe accommodations. And there’s more to do than just sleep! Here are some details that guests often overlook at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.

Playgrounds and Splash Playgrounds

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is quite large, and because of this you can find more than one splash playground, as well as a traditional playground. Many deluxe resorts feature only one pool with a waterslide and splash playground, but Saratoga Springs Resort features two. Both pools have a twisting waterslide, splash playground, and pool bar. There is also a traditional playground on the grounds nearby as you make your way towards Disney Springs on the walking path.

Walk To Disney Springs

Many guests don’t realize that Saratoga Springs is within walking distance to Disney Springs! Not only can guests walk there, but they can also choose to take a boat. The option to walk to Disney Springs gives you a world of opportunities when staying at Saratoga. You can easily pop by Disney Springs for a meal, shopping, or even entertainment. This is definitely a detail that you shouldn’t overlook when staying here.

Leisure Pools

Saratoga Springs doesn’t have a shortage of pools! If waterslides and splash zones aren’t your thing, there are several leisure pools located throughout the property that are quiet, and great for adult-only vacations or anyone who might need a break.

Community Hall

Several DVC resorts are home to Community Halls. These special rooms are a great way for families to connect during the downtime of their vacation, and they are perfect for rainy days or rest days at the resort. Here guests can participate in daily crafts or activities, rent DVDs and board games, play tabletop games, and video games. Community Halls can only be found at DVC resorts, and they are fun for families, guests traveling solo, or guests traveling in groups.

Campfire Activities and Movies Under the Stars

There’s more to explore at Disney resorts than guests realize! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is one of many deluxe resorts that feature campfire activities and movies under the stars. In select areas at these resorts guests can experience a lit campfire nightly with marshmallow kits available and Cast Members leading activities like stories and singing. Large inflatable projection screens will show a Disney movie nightly, and guests are invited to bring blankets and relax while they enjoy the film.
