When you think of a Disney vacation, do you imagine a large trip full of family and friends? Or do you picture a vacation by yourself and playing in the parks solo? For many guests, Disney World is a great vacation destination for when they wish to be alone. Traveling solo to the Disney parks can be a great way to recharge and relax. When you stay DVC you can experience deluxe hotels at a more moderate price. DVC resorts are great for solo vacations. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

This relaxing, spacious, and peaceful resort is just what the solo traveler needs. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is located near Disney Springs. Not only is it within walking distance to Disney Springs, but it’s also a boat ride away from other resorts like Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside. If you don’t plan on spending any time in the parks you can certainly find things to do around this resort. It’s also home to not one but several pool areas featuring waterslides, hot tubs, and poolside dining/bars. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is also a great value, and has spacious deluxe studio rooms for the solo traveler.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is great for the solo traveler who likes to keep busy. This resort is home to an Atlantic-style boardwalk where guests can enjoy Abracadabar, Cake Bake Shop Bakery, live entertainment at night, and even dancing at Atlantic Dance Hall. Guests can also walk over to EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance, and take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

This resort is neighboring Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, and guests can take a quick boat ride to get from one resort to the other. Guests of Disney’s Beach Club Resort can also walk to EPCOT’s International Gateway and take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. Guests of Disney’s Beach Club are also treated to Stormalong Bay, a large mini-waterpark pool area with waterslides and a lazy river.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Did you know that Disney has a beach resort? DVC’s Vero Beach Resort is located on the east coast of Florida, and it has plenty of opportunities for fun for the solo traveler. Not only will guests have access to miles of beach, but they will also have a wonderful pool area with waterslide and a hot tub. This resort is the absolute perfect place to relax and unwind. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort has other recreational options like bike rentals, shuffleboard, and daily activities at the Community Hall. If you visit during late July, you might even catch the Tour de Turtles, an event during which Disney releases sea turtles with tracking devices.
