Attraction Overview

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is based on Disney-Pixar’s Ratatouille that wowed audiences with its premiere in 2007. The attraction is a replica of the one built in Disneyland Paris in 2013 and features the same storyline and ride systems.

This new EPCOT ride is a motion-based trackless ride system in the dark that utilizes screens for the storyline. The track system is similar to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, while the screens are reminiscent of Soarin’ Around The World. The 4D experience is created using heat, cold, water, and smells.

Remy at Epcot
Ratatouille was Pixar’s 8th feature length film.

Guests will enter their “rat car” with their 3D glasses and feel as though they have shrunk down to Remy’s size. Through their 3D glasses guests will be able to see imaginary Chef Gusteau floating around with Remy trying to decide what dish to cook. After deciding on ratatouille, guests will enter the hustle and bustle of the restaurant dining room.

In the restaurant, guests scurry around in the dining room before being spotted and then enter the kitchen while trying to avoid being caught. Guests will face multiple perils that tie into the 4D experience, such as getting a small splash of water from the mop or feeling the heat from the oven fire. In the end, we all make it through the kitchen safe and sound with the help of Remy and Linguini, while enjoying the delicious smell of ratatouille in the kitchen.
