Guests who are visiting Magic Kingdom can expect a day full of magical interactions, attractions, and entertainment. With so many attractions at Magic Kingdom, guests will not find themselves without anything to do. Typically, there are some attractions with a longer wait time than others. These attractions are popular, but they are popular for a reason! Whether you are visiting with Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or are choosing to wait in the standby queue, you will find attractions with varying wait times throughout the day. It’s always nice to have the option of hitting up a less busy attraction during the day, but there are some popular attractions at Magic Kingdom that are worth waiting for.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction is located in Frontierland. Join Tiana as she searches for a critter band for her upcoming celebration of her restaurant. Guests 40 inches or taller will splash down hills as they view stunning scenes with audio-animatronics and original songs. This water adventure will leave you wet, especially after the finale 50 foot drop! This attraction is currently still operating with a virtual queue, and there is an individual Lightning Lane option as well.
TRON Lightcycle Run
Another recent addition to Magic Kingdom’s thrill ride lineup is TRON Lightcycle Run. This thrilling roller coaster is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Guests board a lightcycle and experience one of the fastest Disney roller coasters ever. This attraction is for guests 48 inches or taller and is not for the faint of heart. TRON Lightcycle Run has both a standby queue and an individual Lightning Lane option.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Located in Fantasyland, this attraction has remained popular for many years. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a family roller coaster for guests 38 inches or taller that takes you through the Seven Dwarfs diamond mine on a wild ride. Featuring drops, turns, and rocking ride vehicles, this attraction is perfect for riders who prefer a less “thrilling” experience than TRON Lightcycle run. Guests can either wait in the standby queue or purchase an individual Lightning Lane pass for this attraction. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train takes an on-ride photo; perfect for commemorating your child’s first “big kid” roller coaster ride!
Haunted Mansion
This classic Disney attraction is quite popular. It is not surprise that guests love Haunted Mansion for its spooky charm and unique special effects. This attraction has no height requirement, though some very small children might find it spooky. Haunted Mansion explores the home of 999 happy haunts. Guests move through haunted hallways, seances, and graveyards. This attraction is worth the wait for any fan of classic Disney and Disney Imagineering and their creativity.
Pirates Of The Caribbean
Another classic Disney attraction that is well worth its wait is Pirates of the Caribbean. This boat ride through a pirate’s life tells a tale through the use of audio-animatronics and other effects. Guests love this attraction for its originality and lifelike audio-animatronics throughout.
