Location & Wait Times
Being located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom situates this attraction close to Space Mountain, and the Tomorrowland Speedway. Currently, this attraction is only accessible through a virtual queue system that prevents allows park guests to reserve a time to experience the attraction without waiting through lengthy standby lines.
If you’d like to get more information on how to join the virtual queue you can read our article here: How To Join The Virtual Queue For TRON Lightcycle / Run.
Entering the attraction, you will pass under a huge canopy, known as the Upload Circuit that has the ability to illuminate during nighttime. As you enter the attraction, you are being digitally “loaded” into the attraction just as the characters in TRON are uploaded to software in the popular movie franchise. The queue experience emulates park guests being uploaded into what is referred to as “the grid”, which is a purely digital land in which much of the Tron movies take place.
