There is no better place to plan a date night than Disneyland! With its many dining opportunities, entertainment, and attractions, you will be sure to have an eventful and fun date night. So, whether it is your first date or one of many, here are some of our favorite things to do during date night at Disneyland.
Attractions and Genie +
When planning a date night at Disneyland, consider purchasing Genie+ in order to make the most of your evening. If you only have one night at Disneyland you’ll want to have the option to experience as many attractions as possible. Genie+ will allow you to utilize Lightning Lane entrances for all major attractions. For bigger attractions like Minnie & Mickey’s Runaway Railway and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Lightning Lane passes are available for an individual purchase.
There are several attractions that make perfect date night attractions. Disneyland has both classic attractions from the park’s original opening in 1955, and new and exciting thrill rides as well. Here are some of our favorites for date night:
- Alice in Wonderland-A slow-moving whimsical attraction that is a Disneyland exclusive. This attraction is charming and perfect for snuggling close during date night.
- Matterhorn Bobsleds– Another classic Disneyland attraction, this time in the form of a thrilling roller coaster. This coaster has perfect Disney touches and theming.

Dining Locations
Disneyland has several dining locations available for your date night. There are both quick service and sit-down dining restaurants to choose from. A quick-service dining location will give you a bit more time in the park, however a sit-down dining location will offer you a quiet moment to talk and relax during your evening. Here are some of our favorites:
- Tiana’s Palace- Disneyland’s newest quick-service restaurant is Tiana’s Palace and serves creole and Cajun-inspired cuisine.
- Alien Pizza Planet- If you are looking for a casual quick-service restaurant then Alien Pizza Planet is perfect for you. Serving up a variety of pastas, pizzas, salads, and desserts.

Fantasmic! is a nighttime spectacular stage show experience starring Mickey and several favorite Disney characters live on stage. This show is incredible and is currently on pause until spring of 2024, so if you are planning a Disney date night be sure to check the schedule and showtimes before you go.
