It can be hard to experience it all during a single trip, but as a local you may have the lucky ability to visit Disney World more often to try one of the many activities or classes.

Amorette’s Patisserie Cake Decorating Class
Is anything sweeter than a Disney World dessert? Perhaps learning to craft one yourself! At Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, you can take a cake decorating class taught by a talented Disney pastry artist. During this 90-minute experience, you will get to visit Amorette’s show kitchen before it is open to regular guests; your instructor will teach your small-group class how to pour glaçage and coat Mickey’s sculpted ears, tail, belt and buttons with edible paint. Best of all, you can take your finished masterpiece home with you!
The class is $199 plus tax for two guests and includes your completed cake, a refreshing selection of specialty coffees, teas, water or select alcoholic beverages, and a special souvenir gift from Amorette’s to remember your experience. Wilderness Back Trail Adventure
For nature enthusiasts, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort offers a unique way to experience the beauty of Florida’s great outdoors. Guests can take a two-hour guided tour of Fort Wilderness’ extensive grounds–on a Segway! A Cast Member guides guests around on X2 Segways, which boast quiet, maneuverable and easy operation. During your tour you will see woodlands, Bay Lake, Tri-Circle-D Ranch and more.
Before the adventure begins, guests are outfitted with safety helmets and an electronic earpiece for hearing the tour guide. They also receive thorough instruction on driving their Segway before heading out on the trail. Kids Cooking Classes at Terralina Crafted Italian
If you have little ones with an interest in cooking, consider signing them up for a kids cooking class at Terralina Crafted Italian in Disney Springs. Aspiring chefs ages 5-12 can learn how to cook their own pizzas from scratch using fresh ingredients. A professional chef guides the class through making the pizzas, and also teaches participants how to appreciate Italian culture and cuisine. The class is $30 plus tax per child; a drink, apron, chef hat, pizza and a sundae are included!
Golf at Disney World’s Golf Courses
Disney World is home to four championship golf courses. Each course is expertly designed and impeccably maintained by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, and offers breathtaking natural beauty and challenges for any level of skill.
If you are just getting started with learning how to golf, you can sign up for lessons with a PGA Professional. Sign up for 45 minute lessons, ½ day lessons, full day lessons, or a group class. There are also classes available for Junior Golfers!
If mini golf is more your style, plan a visit to Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland mini golf courses. The courses feature enchanting theming and a manageable level of challenge for all ages.
