Must-do’s in EPCOT World Showcase’s America Pavilion



American Adventure

EPCOT’s World Showcase is a celebration of culture. Featuring 11 different country pavilions, World Showcase is a place to experience attractions, shows, food, and shopping from all over the world. Guests of World Showcase can easily spend several hours of their park day walking through World Showcase and taking in all of the sights and sounds of the many countries featured. Midway through World Showcase is The American Adventure pavilion. This pavilion is a love letter to the history of America and showcases our country and what makes us unique. Guests can find several experiences at the America pavilion. If you have a visit to EPCOT coming up then check out these must-do’s at the American Adventure pavilion.

The American Adventure Show

The American Adventure Pavilion is home to a must-do stage show. The American Adventure theater show is an incredible stage show starring audio-animatronics that uses stunning visual effects to tell the story of our nation’s past. The American Adventure features a 72-foot screen and covers historical events like the landing of the Mayflower, the Boston Tea Party, Valley Forge, the Declaration of Independence, the Civil War, and the Great Depression. Historical figures like Mark Twain, Benjamin Franklin, Teddy Roosevelt, and Susan B. Anthony are featured during this inspiring production. This show is approximately 29 minutes long and runs periodically throughout the day.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

In the mood for good American cooking? The America pavilion is home to a delicious quick-service restaurant serving smoked BBQ and other delicious eats. Regal Eagle Smokehouse is located indoors and serves American BBQ like Memphis Dry-rub Pork Ribs, Kansas City Half Smoked Chicken, Sliced Texas Beef Brisket, North Carolina Chopped Smoked Pork Butt, and more. Delicious sides like baked beans with burnt ends, beer-battered onion rings, and macaroni and cheese are also available to enjoy. For dessert, guests can enjoy classic American treats like banana pudding and s’mores brownies. An assortment of domestic beers and ciders are available on tap as well.

American Heritage Gallery

Inside the American Adventure pavilion guests will find a collection of artifacts celebrating Native American heritage. Traditional and modern native artists have their work on display at the American Heritage Gallery. The gallery features art and work from 7 geographic regions throughout the Untied States. The gallery is presented in an educational and storytelling way that entertains and educates guests of all ages. The artifacts featured in the American Heritage Gallery really showcase the true history of our nation.

America Gardens Theater

Just outside of the American Adventure pavilion is America Gardens Theater. This outdoor theater space is used throughout the year for performances of all kind. During EPCOT’s international festivals, the America Gardens Theater is typically utilized for musical performances and has hosted artists like Smash Mouth and Disney on Broadway. Guests interested in catching a performance at America Gardens Theater should check the schedule of performances upon check-in to their vacation, as performance times and artists vary.
