Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a park that celebrates the love of old Hollywood, movies both old and new, animation, and entertainment in general. While the park has seen many big changes in recent years with the addition of Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge, much of the original park still remains and continues to entertain guests to this day. As you make your way through the park and walk toward the right you’ll come across Sunset Boulevard. The epitome of old Hollywood glam, this area of the park is home to many attractions and wonderful things to do and see. Continue reading as we explore Sunset Boulevard.

Attractions

Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage– Did you know that a Broadway-style show has a home within Hollywood Studios? Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage, has been performing at Sunset Boulevard since 1991. This production features live singing, dancing, and incredible performances. This musical performance is approximately 30 minutes long and runs periodically throughout the day. This show is a fan-favorite of many and keeps guests coming back year after year.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror- Enter the Twilight Zone with Hollywood Studio’s popular attraction: Tower of Terror. This attraction takes guests into the Hollywood Tower Hotel and into another dimension. This drop-tower style attraction features randomized drops which make for a unique experience each ride. This attraction is for guests 40 inches or taller.

Rock n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith-This roller coaster will leave guests singing. Aerosmith gave you backstage passes and you need to get to the show…fast! This roller coaster features 3 inversions, as well as a launch that will take you 0-60mph in seconds. This attraction is suitable for guests 48 inches or taller. This attraction is currently undergoing refurbishment, but is scheduled to reopen during summer of 2024.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy– This unique show stars Lighting McQueen, Tow Mater, and Cruz Ramirez as they showcase a state-of-the-art racing simulator to guests.

Dining

Fairfax Fare-This quick-service food stand serves unique bowl creations like the Buffalo Chicken Bowl, and Korean Barbecued Pork Belly Bowl. Plant-based bowls are available as well, along with alcoholic beverages and other specialty drinks.

Hollywood Scoops- This ice cream stand serves hand-dipped ice cream creations like the Mickey Brownie Sundae.

KRNR The Rock Station- This food truck-style snack stand serves corn dog nuggets, chips with cheese, frozen lemonade, and a variety of alcoholic beverages.

Rosie’s All-American Cafe– This quick-service food stand serves American-style meals like footlong hot dogs with chili and cheese, chicken breast nuggets, and cheeseburgers.

Characters and Entertainment

Fantasmic-Hollywood Studio’s famous nighttime stage show, Fantasmic, plays nightly in the amphitheater located off of Sunset Boulevard. This show is a spectacular performance featuring Disney characters like Moana, Mulan, Elsa and Anna, and so much more. Mickey takes the stage as the main star and defeats the evil villains. This show uses music, water, projections, and other special effects to make for a thrilling performance.
