Disney World Restaurants With Exceptional Dessert Menus

Ice cream

One of the fun parts of any Disney vacation is eating and experiencing Disney’s many wonderful restaurants. Disney World is currently home to more than 90 sit-down dining experiences which means there will always be options for you to enjoy. If you are anything like me then you might feel as if the entree is only part of the experience while dining out. For me and my family, the dessert is the true star of the show. If you have a sweet tooth that you need to satisfy during your vacation then check out these Disney World restaurants with exceptional dessert menus!

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to a restaurant that is truly unique: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. The tables at this restaurant are within vintage-style cars, and guests watch old Sci-fi film clips while they dine below the “stars”. Sci-Fi Dine-In truly feels like a restaurant from another era as they serve diner-style food like burgers and fries as well as pastas, sandwiches, and salads. The dessert menu at Sci-Fi Dine-In is truly special as it consists of Oreo cookie, chocolate, and vanilla milkshakes, as well as classic hot fudge sundaes. Specialty desserts include “The Red Planet” which consists of white chocolate cheesecake topped with spiced blueberry compote on a graham cracker tart, and the “Out-of-this-world” which is a chocolate cake topped with pineapple and white-chocolate mousse with a passion-fruit and lime spaceship.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is where we find the next incredible restaurant: Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. This retro soda fountain-inspired restaurant serves all of the nostalgic favorites of the past like burgers, grilled cheese, French dip sandwiches, and Reubens. But guests don’t typically come here because of the entrees, although they are tasty, the real reason that Beaches & Cream is a fan favorite is because of its huge and delicious dessert menu. Beaches & Cream serves cookie fries with assorted dips, strawberry shortcake, and brownie a la mode. Specialty shakes include the Mickey Confetti Shake, a vanilla shake topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a rainbow confetti cupcake. Beaches & Cream serves up any flavor of shake or malt that you can imagine, as well as hand-scooped ice cream, old-fashioned sundaes, and The Kitchen Sink- a massive ice cream creation that serves 4 guests!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Toy Story comes to life at Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios! This restaurant is themed after Andy’s room, and guests enjoy an all-you-care-to-enjoy barbecue feast! After you are finished dining on BBQ ribs, brisket, sausage, and more, you can choose a dessert from an incredible menu. The desserts at Roundup Rodeo BBQ include a Cupcake featuring Forky, and several “pies in a jar” including apple, chocolate silk pie, peach-strawberry pie, and lemon-blueberry cheesecake!

Topolino’s Terrace

One of Disney’s signature dining experiences comes with an impressive dessert menu! Topolino’s Terrace is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort and offers beautiful rooftop dining with a European-inspired menu. Topolino’s Terrace offers high-end entrees like braised lamb shank and filet mignon, and its dessert menu is just as sophisticated. Guests can enjoy warm chocolate cake, lemon tiramisu, vanilla and citrus creme Brulé, and black currant mousse.
