The first annual Disney+ Day is coming this Friday, November 12! While Disney+ Day may not seem like a big deal, especially if you don’t watch much television, the first annual day of this kind is going to be a big one for Disney fans! Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, describes Disney+ Day as the following: “This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling..” (Source: https://news.disney.com/disney-plus-day-offers). What’s more, the streaming service will be available for the first time for some residents of Southeast Asia! Read below to make sure you don’t miss out on any of these deals beginning this week for Disney+ Subscribers!
Disney+ Subscribers Get Early Park Entry On November 12
Perhaps the most exciting benefits come to park-goers on Friday, November 12. Subscribers of Disney+ and their party who are going to any of the Walt Disney World parks or Disneyland on November 12, regardless if they are staying at a Disney resort, will be granted entry 30 minutes before park opening! Simply show a logged-in screen of Disney+ at the gate to redeem this amazing perk. Also, Disney has announced that “more surprises” are in store for subscribers who visit on the parks on Disney+ Day, so stay tuned to your My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps for more details. As of writing this post, park passes for Friday, November 12 are still available for all four Walt Disney Word Parks, however they are sold out for annual passholders.
Blue Carpet Photo Opportunity
Another perk for Disney+ subscribers will happen on the blue carpet! In honor of Disney+ Day, Disney will roll out a blue carpet in Hollywood Studios and Disneyland to give you the special opportunity to take photos with favorite characters from Disney+. Who are you hoping that we see? Subscribers to Disney+ will also get free downloads for Disney PhotoPass at select locations via the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps.
